A gold mine of information: "Ho‘okuleana"

A few weeks ago, while doing online research for a current project, I happened upon “Ho‘okuleana,” a blog created by Peter T. Young of Kailua. Featuring Hawaiian history and culture, “Ho‘okuleana” offers a staggering wealth of information and images. Mr. Young’s writings detail a variety of subject matter that encompasses Hawai‘i’s yesterday to today. Each daily “jewel” is excellently researched and written. Be sure to also check out Mr. Young’s Facebook page. Additional albums of images for each post are located there. You may subscribe to “Ho‘okuleana” and receive Mr. Young’s daily posts via email.
